Alfie, a Border Collie we rescued from a truck at a dog meat truck in 2021. We aren’t sure how he came to be there but he soon regained his trust despite his challenging past. Alfie is a little overweight and not high energy , he loves spending time with people but can be grumpy with other dogs upon meeting them. He does socialize together in a big group of mixed dogs and currently shares a room with 1 medium sized male.
He’s a long timer at the shelter, I hate seeing his youth slip by there, it’s such a waste. We really need to get him out of China. my heart breaks for him.
Alfie needs an quiet home, ideally as an only dog.
